Still here.

just super busy with this juggling act I'm attempting! This week I ended up working for someone who was on holidays which brought me up to four days this week....so computer time is super limited. I feel bad not updating this more regularly and so I'm thinking I'll take a break from blogging and see if it's just another extra that takes up more time than it's worth...and for you faraway friends...send me an email and we will still keep in touch! (i'll even send you pics to keep you up to date every once in a while!)

quick update...

well, week one at work has come and gone. really enjoyed being there. and the kids did fine! the weekend was relaxing and gave me time to get things done around the house, scrapbook a few pages, watch the boys play hockey (where Brett had the chance to play goalie for the first time...super exciting!), watch the SuperBowl (of course!), and plan out some meals for week two! :)

New things

are happening over here (again!). After enjoying three months of my SAHM status I was offered a job and decided to accept it...for us...so that we can continue to do the things we love to do...including travel!! :) I will only be working part time and am hoping that with some good organization and structure that our family will continue to thrive and that this will be a good change for us! And so for now, because I am really missing the Mexican sun...I will leave you with a few photos! Have a great week! :)

playdates are always fun...especially when the girls play nicely!

talkin' "shop" is always fun! After seeing my newly painted toes...Jorja insisted on having pink toes too! This was the first time I'd ever painted them! She was SOOOOOOOO proud! :)But then she got sick :( on the floor in front of the TV all day...lethargic...and then just fell asleep...

today she is better...napping now...

and only one more sleep til we get to...
so i'll be MIA for awhile but hope to post lots of pics when we get back! :)

365 challenge

well, here's the start to the challenge to take a photo a day...Leigh informed me that this year was a leap year so if I can keep up...by December 31, 2008 I should have 366 pictures! :)

homemade pizza on a lazy Sunday at home... just an "at-home" day with Jorja, on the boys first day back to school...she LOVES mommy's lipstick (mik-tik)!

Bowling birthday

for Lucas' 7th birthday he wanted to go bowling as a family. We were more than happy to oblige! This was Jorja's first time there and WOW...she was so excited that there were pink bowling balls...she insisted we each have one! I was thankful the boys humored her! And I was thankful to have such cooperative subjects to test out my new camera on (the one I spoiled myself with this Christmas! ;)

and afterwards we went for ice-cream! :)

Seven!

This guy is seven today! He was so excited when he woke up this morning.. and the first thing he did was climb into bed with us for a quick snuggle! He melts me! love you buddy... have a super fun birthday!!!
