I'm back!!!

Wow! The big move is done...we're nearly settled. Life has been crazy the last couple of weeks. Packing...Unpacking...Christmas...Unpacking some more...and of course the everyday stuff that continually needs attention. It took two weeks for the internet to be hooked up here - probably a good thing as it allowed me to get a lot more unpacking done!!! And I tried to take pictures amidst all the chaos...I'll leave you with a few Christmas ones for now!

And of course, she gets away with it because it keeps her happy...and busy...and lets me get some packing done! (Well, at least until she dumped an entire jar of grandma's pickles on the floor!) :)

Super Scrap Day!

was a success!

I accomplished much more than I thought I would and am pretty much caught up with my pictures now. I think most of my DT assignments are done for December which frees me to start "packing up my scrapbooking stuff" now too! Well...i'm starting to pack...a couple boxes a day, whenever i can...here's one of the layouts i did (yesterday at Super Scrap Day) showing what the kids would rather be doing with the boxes i keep bringing home!

SOLD!!!

...in one day!! A few weeks ago we hadn't even considered moving and somehow things just happened...we've started feeling rather cramped in the 832 square feet we've called home for nearly 12 years! And so we looked at 2 houses that appealed to us...ended buying the one that suited our families needs best and sold ours, all in a matter of four days! So excited for this next stage of life...for a little (okay, a lot!) more space...now I'm off to pack!

Hallowe'en

Okay, so I'm not a huge fan of Hallowe'en but the boys think it's the best. They love dressing up and even more...CANDY! So we went out for a little "candy fun!" Lucas was his Nascar favorite (Dale Earnhardt Jr.) and Brett went as Wolverine from the X-Men. I can't believe how cold it was outside!

And well...having a Hallowe'en birthday isn't my favorite either but we celebrated a few days early. Bevin took advantage of one of the last nice days before the snow fell to take me out in his new car. We went to Maxime's in Winnipeg for supper. Had a good time reconnecting. And on my actual birthday I got 6 red roses! He is so good to me!

for My Scrap Shoppe was going on last night and all day today. I got a couple of layouts done and am hoping to get more done a little later if Jorja decides on a late afternoon nap! ;)

Well, I'm back! I wanted to post some pictures from our weekend away but when I got home the computer was not acting as it should and needed a good "cleaning!!" So I've been without for three days...it's scary how dependant we become on this convenience. This piece of technology. I wanted to check some dates for some photos I was scrapbooking and nope! couldn't do it. My computer had left the building! Needless to say, our home has received some extra attention the past few days and it was high time!! Anyway, I always like seeing blogs with pictures and so I thought (we'll see if this works!) I'd post a few pictures of what we've been up to the past week... (and the "better"pics of the weekend are on mom's camera so I'll have to wait on that!)
Brett started playing rec. hockey two weeks ago! He's a good little skater! That's him with the Nike jersey. Bevin went on the ice and helped with the practice and then played goalie for their little game.

And then there's eBay!!! Just had to show you the cutest little shoes I "won" for Jorja! I've got quite the wardrobe goin' for her...I knew having a girl would be the end of

me!! :)

Well, I'm off for the weekend. Mom's birthday is tomorrow and so my sisters and I are taking her out. To the Clarion for night. Some shopping. Supper. Relaxing. Connecting. Hope to post some pictures when I get back tomorrow night! Have a great weekend! :)

I can't believe I did it!

I have actually started a blog! Something I never thought I'd do. Something I thought would probably be a waste of my time. I guess I'm hoping it'll jumpstart my journaling for future scrapbooking pages. Hoping it will keep me connected to friends and family. So this is a leap for me. Hope I enjoy the ride!
